Adopt A Preacher
Our List Of preachers
Our original plans as to how to provide for the financial needs of these poverty stricken preachers has been changed so that our 501c3 application (pending) is in compliance with all IRS laws regarding the proper use of donations and grants. Rather than donations channeling through us to assist these individuals (unlawful) we are directing individuals, small groups, or congregations to do so directly. We are in the process of making this possible through one of the three churches that Ubeda Limma is associated with and will take a bit of time to get all the mechanics worked out to make this possible. The Photo above is of Ubeda Limma from Odisha, India. He has been a faithful gospel preacher for over 23 years. He is married to Kumari and together they are raising two sons. Before I met him online, he had been "walking by the foot" many miles with his family on Sundays to preach at three churches of Christ in the rain. heat, and cold. He still does. When we first met him online he and his family were two months behind on their rent and just days from eviction. He has been beaten and robbed regularly on mission trips and has been jailed almost yearly for his faith. His family has been deprived of purchasing groceries at the town market. He has managed to train 28 "Co-Preachers" from the State of Odisha in India and has an ongoing monthly teaching program at his home of which I often bring a teaching via WhatsApp. He speaks six languages and claims over 900 baptisms in the year 2023 and nearly 600 in 2024. Below is an introduction to the 28 Co-preachers. Most of them do not speak English, about 12 to 15 do. My hope and mission is to locate as many families, church groups, or Sunday school groups to adopt one of them and shower them with Love, encouragement, and the finances to keep them alive and well. I can not take the time to tell you of the horrors that some of the churches have had to endure over the last year. Burning church buildings, homes, beatings, death by elephants, and torrential flooding that destroyed homes and churches as well as extreme heat conditions where baptisms had to be postponed due to a lack of water in the rivers and ponds. A wise farmer (sower) looks for good ground to plant (sow) his seed. Look no further! I have one special young lady from Pakistan, the village of Sahiwal. She is about 24 years old and has been studying with me twice weekly for over a year now. She and her sister were baptized for all the right reasons this time last year. We have only recently found a local church of Christ in her home town and have brought her into contact with the preacher, brother Amir. She has been teaching the women and children of her village in her father's humble home. Recently this spring (2025) she has had 5 women baptized into Christ by brother Amir from the Sahiwal church of Christ. She is in need of a rental building to accommodate the number of people sitting in on her Bible lessons I am helping oversee the best I can. Her name is Mehwish Samuel and I hope a women's group would step forward to help her. She speaks English and has a college degree but because of her faith, she can not find work in Pakistan. If a professional computer could be purchased for her she would be able and willing to start a home business using her design skills to help support her extended family at her father's home.

Only two preachers in this group speak and read English, Ubeda Limma from India and Mehwish Samuel from Pakistan. Unfortunately, they are also the only two with WhatsApp numbers. Ubeda is the go-between for anyone wishing to help support one of his co-preachers. For contact info please reach out to me and I will provide contact information on an "as need" basis.
